Come join us for a night of celebration at Midtown’s Midtown Sounds musical event. This year’s headliner is The Lone Bellow, a contemporary folk-rock with deep inspiration from the south. Opening for them is Hattiesburg’s Taste of 59 South to start off the night with rhythm and soul.

Midtown Sounds is a free family-friendly music festival bringing together locals and visitors to enjoy a night filled with live music, local eateries, and much more.

The Lone Bellow

Originating from Brooklyn, New York, The Lone Bellow is a contemporary folk-rock group with a unique raw sound to make you feel the heart and soul of the South.. The band consists of lead singer/principal songwriter Zach Williams, mandolin player Kanene Dohehey Pipkin, and guitarist Brian Elmquist and continues to cherishes its southern roots with popular songs like “Count On Me” and “Good Times”. 

Taste of 59 South

Vivacious meets funk. Soulful meets Jazz. The hot commodity of music based out of Hattiesburg, MS, Taste of 59 South is a band formed to bring entertainment and good times to any event, performing many genres with a taste of SoMiss groove. This crowd-pleasing band with an allure of sultry tunes will always put you in a natural aura of romance and luxury with their serenading.
